UKN Management Consulting is a young consultancy with the experience of an old hand in Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management. Uwe Naujoks, founder and owner, has spent the last ten years of his professional career working in this field.
The declared objective of UKN Management Consulting is to become an established player on the German, European and global markets with business continuity management and crisis management as its core competences, deploying the expertise of local and global alliance partners.
UKN Management Consulting also plays an active role in the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), both nationally as an active member of the German BCI Forum, and as a consultancy practice applying the new BCM standard BS 25999 throughout Europe. By speaking about BCM at selected seminars and congresses, UKN Management Consulting aims to communicate BCM issues to a broad range of professionals.
Profile of Uwe K. Naujoks
Abitur (high school leaving examination) and degree in banking; from 1986 management positions at Berliner Bank AG and Bankgesellschaft Berlin.
From 1993 to 1997 Operations Manager and Security Manager at Bankgesellschaft Berlin Int. S.A. Luxembourg.
From 1997 to 2000 Security Manager at WestLB International S.A. Luxembourg, manager of major projects Euro and Y2K. Contribution in role as Operational Manager to developing Banking Services Luxembourg S.A., a company that offers a disaster recovery centre with alternate work facilities and advises users on business continuity projects.
From 2000 to mid 2006 Global BC Planning Officer at WestLB bank group. Speaker at numerous national and international conferences and seminars, author of various specialist articles on Business Continuity and Crisis Management.
Since June 2006, owner of UKN Management Consulting company.
Co-editor and author of the book "Business Continuity - IT Risk Management for international Corporations", published by Springer Verlag, Heidelberg/New York. Fellow of the BCI (Business Continuity Institute) and co-founder of the German BCI Forum.
